Who We Are

Founded by Dr. Carmen Fong in Atlanta, Georgia, the Peaches Institute for Research & Innovation (PIRI) was created to bridge the gap between promising ideas and meaningful medical discoveries. We invest in students, trainees, and early-career researchers by providing mentorship, research funding, and opportunities to present their work on national stages.

PIRI believes tomorrow’s breakthroughs begin by empowering today’s physician-scientists. Through collaboration, education, and innovation, we help transform research into real-world improvements in patient care.

More than funding research, PIRI is building a community of future healthcare leaders dedicated to advancing science, improving outcomes, and shaping the future of medicine.
